You’ve got to hand it to music creators who can put together a beat or sound clip for any project. They have skills that make the rest of us cringe in jealousy—especially when we have to pay the licensing fees for their music.
But what if you could turn the tables on this issue?
What if you never had to pay another cent in royalties for a loop or sample for your next content project?

The Process of Creating Loops and Samples with AI
So, how do you get started with SOUNDRAW? Let’s show you how easy it is to create and manage a workflow using this free tool.
Step #1 – Open the Site
Navigate to the homepage.
Step #2 – Try it for Free
You can try the platform for free without opening an account or adding your credit card information. It’s a great way to give it a go without committing to a subscription just click the “Create Music” button and you’re good to go.

Step #3 – Open the SOUNDRAW Studio
The platform automatically opens the creator studio, ready for you to start your first project. You’ll see the top ribbon has the following tabs “Genre,” “Mood,” “Theme,” “Length,” and “Tempo”.
Step #4 – Choose Your Preferences
Open each of the tabs mentioned in the previous steps and you’ll see one-click options for your sound clip. For instance, in the Genre tab, you’ll see options for “Hip-hop,” “Drill,” “Rock,” “Acoustic,” and many, many more. Run through each of the tabs to set up your perfect loop. The best thing about this tool is that it’s great for short clips. Just set the “Length” tab to 1 minute or less and you’ll get a short, but highly engaging loop generated in seconds. You can change the length even after you find a loop you like, so experiment with different settings to find the perfect fit.

Step #5 – Auto-Generate
When you finish selecting your preferences, the system creates AI-generated samples in the window below the interface. You’ll get plenty of options, so run through each of them until you find the right one to fit your project. You can use the "Create Similar" button to make a bunch of loops that are similar to one you like!
Step #6 – Edit Your Sample in “Mixer” Mode
Editing mode is available in all Creator and Artist SOUNDRAW subscriptions. Toggle the “Mixer” switch on the left of the screen to open the editing interface and start customizing your sample. You’ll have options to change the “energy” in each section of the loop, adjusting it to suit your content. Change your instruments, and even scale the volume of each element in the track. Spend some time playing around with your clip until you have it just right.

Step #7 – Download Your Loop
When you’re happy with the finished product, click the download icon in the top ribbon on the right and your sample is downloaded to the preferred folder on your device. You’ll need to create an account and subscribe before you can proceed with your download.

AI-generated samples offer unique, one-of-a-kind tunes for your trending clips. Since it’s royalty-free, there’s no issue with copyright claims.

Independent Musicians and Beatmakers
Even seasoned producers can benefit from AI-powered music creation. Add loops and samples to your music in any genre, from pop to rock, or hip-hop. You get fully licensed, original samples and loops for your music projects to complement your creative freedom with AI’s efficiency.
Understanding Licensing with SOUNDRAW
All plans allow you to use your AI-generated loops and samples in commercial projects like those we ran through above. But there are some limitations on what you can do with the content if you choose the Creator package over the Artist package.
If you choose an artist package, you get to keep 100% of the recording royalties, you can distribute to platforms like YouTube and Spotify, and you can download the STEMS for your files.
If you’re an artist publishing to platforms like Spotify to monetize your content, you’ll need to modify it before posting it. But since we’re talking loops and samples here, you won’t have to modify anything, even if your subscription to SOUNDRAW lapses.
Creating Royalty-Free Loops and Samples
SOUNDRAW has a tiered pricing plan, with the entry-level suite being the “Creator” subscription. It’s $12.99 per month, or $11.04 per month if you take a year package upfront. This package already has a load of utility in it, and it might be everything you need, without going for the more expensive “Artist” packages.
There’s no difference between the Artist and Creator packages other than the licensing and distribution limitations on what you can do with the content. If you were creating music for publication and not just loops and samples, it might be a better idea to go with one of the Artist packages and start your journey to create samples with AI technology and SOUNDRAW today!
